Catch up

These are from the last couple of days, I haven't had a chance to upload them but the first one is maverick watching cartoons he doesn't watch for very long at a time but its funny when they do catch his attention he is usually completely sucked in and its cute, the 2nd one I taught him how to reach into the jar of puffs and get his own puffs out, it was really cool to see his reaction to that little discovery, then yesterday he fell asleep right before I got to Cindie's house and it was too cute how he had his bottle in one hand and his monkey in the other!

Play time!

Today Maverick figured out how to open his puffs container and spilled them everywhere so funny of course he loved eating them, and then tonight after we were done eating dinner I played with Maverick and his box he really loves that box and on our way around the living room we picked up mister frog and took him for a ride too, quite fun!

Christmas Tree

Maverick and Mommy put up the Christmas tree last night and this morning they decorated it, and the weird thing is that maverick hasn't really messed with the tree yet, so maybe we'll get lucky and he won't.

Fruit

I started giving Maverick some fruit this week and so far he really like raspberries, blueberries, grapes, and bananas in this pic I cut up some blueberries and green and red grapes and he pretty much finished them off!

Box Car

Mav thought this was really fun we turned a big box into a boxcar and rode it around the kitchen, it was pretty darn fun!

Bath Time

So I was giving maverick a bath and he likes to play with his soap bottle and I usually Let him because he does not do anything wrong with it and today he decided and managed to take a cap off by the time I realized what he had done the bottle had filled up with water and diluted the soap alot, so I guess no more soap bottles for him. ;)

What a great Sunday!

Today turned out pretty good we put up some Christmas lights, I know its a little early but we want to be able to enjoy them a little longer than normal and since we will be in Idaho for Thanksgiving we wouldn't be able to decorate until the week after so there you have it, and for dinner Melanie made for the first time country fried steak and it turned out so FREAKIN good we all loved it and couldn't get enough and then Carrie made a pumpkin roll and that turned out OK but still tasted really good! And Carrie had a guy over for dinner and we all had fun he is pretty cool, it was a really great Sunday, now time to get some sleep so we can get back to the grind tomorrow!

Getting ready for church

I love this picture, we were trying to get him to smile and he was distracted and when he did he grabbed my face and Melanie caught it, it perfectly shows how much he loves his daddy!

Going to church

Maverick absolutely loves this quilt that his Auntie Liz made for him, its like a magic sleeping agent or something he seems to fall asleep so quick when snuggling with it, anyway this morning was fun he seems to wake up ever morning about 730 or so and he's so playful, he's very ticklish and I pretend that I'm biting him on his side and he loves it, so lately he tries to get me back he puts his head into my neck and growls like I do! Then he goes after mommy, its too fun!

Lunch Time

Melanie, Mary and Maverick came to my work tonight to bring me a sweater and some dinner, Mavy was so excited to see me, it really made me so happy to see him, and of course who wouldn't be with an adorable little face like his!

Give this a try

Well Melanie suggested that we try this out and see how things go, never really thought I would really be much into blogging but it seems like it might be a great way to keep a journal of our happenings and share it with our friends and family so stay tuned and see what we'll see if I can keep up with it!
So this was when I was getting Mavy ready to go to dinner at a new restaurant that some friends of ours opened called G Mann's Restaurant it was sooo dang good!
